Mr. Wyatt has been listed since 2007 for both the White Collar Crime and Non-White Collar Criminal Defense categories.
Since its inception in 1983,
Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive
guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an
exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 32,000 leading attorneys
cast almost two million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in
their specialties, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay
a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a
singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best
Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
It is important to note that the lawyers listed in Best Lawyers
have no say in deciding which specialties they are included in. They are
voted into specialties entirely as a result of the votes they receive from
their peers. The subspecialties listed after their names are based on
information from a variety of sources.
Oklahoma Super Lawyers ®
Mr. Wyatt was selected by his peers for inclusion in the inaugural edition of the Oklahoma Super Lawyers for his Criminal Defense practice and has continously been listed since 2006.
Super Lawyers magazine names attorneys in each state who received the highest point totals, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. Rising Stars names the state's top up-and-coming attorneys. The final published list represents no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state.
Super Lawyers magazine is published in all 50 states and reaches more than 13 million readers.
Martindale Hubbell ® Ratings
Mr. Wyatt has been AV rated since 1999.
AV® Peer Review Rating — An AV® certification mark is a significant rating accomplishment - a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence and integrity. A lawyer must be admitted to the bar for 10 years or more to receive an AV® rating.

The first Martindale books were published in 1868, the principal one being Martindale's United States Law Directory and later Martindale's American Law Dictionary. In 1930, the publishing rights to Hubbell's Legal Directory were purchased by the Martindale Company and ever since the directory has been known as the Martindale-Hubbell© Law Directory.
Each
Martindale-Hubbell Rating has two components:
• Legal Ability Ratings
• General
Ethical Standards Rating
Legal Ability and General Ethical Standards Ratings have appeared in the Directory for over 100 years, with a company imperative to publish fair and accurate ratings for as many lawyers as possible. While the vast majority of rating reviews are initiated by the company, an inquiry will be undertaken upon request. Lawyers, both private and corporate, refer to ratings when forwarding legal matters with confidence in the accuracy of the information presented.
Legal Ability Ratings
This
component takes into consideration the attorney's standard of
professional ability in legal area where he practices, the lawyer's
expertise, and other professional qualifications.
" A" - from very high to preeminent
" B" - from high to very high
" C" - from fair to high
General Ethical Standards Rating
This
component denotes adherence to professional standards of conduct and
ethics, reliability, diligence and other criteria relevant to the
discharge of professional responsibilities.
" V" - Very High.
No rating
will be published unless rating is established in both categories.
